Two workshops will be conducted by the GED Committee, one on March 29th at 6:30 8:30 in the evening at Lafayette High School and the second one is on April 13, 2010. There will be information available from the local colleges and community resources for approximately 60 GED students. Members were asked to bring canned goods for local charities and be there by 5 P. M. The workshop scheduled for April 13th will be held at the same place at the same time will target Job Opportunities, Community Resources and Health. Dr. Mansfield has invited young adults from Head Start, Avalon and the Community Action Agency.
